All our residential uniformed technicians leave in wrapped company trucks from our facility in Orangevale with all the tools needed to get the jobs done. They travel all over Sacramento and the surrounding area cleaning windows inside & out, gutters, and pressure washing of customers’ homes.
Our technicians work an average 40 hours a week, earning a performance percentage of what they complete (which can be quite substantial at times), and they have very flexible schedules. Working for Always Shine Inc. also means much more than just a paycheck. Of course, that’s the reason why you get a job in the first place, but wouldn’t it be nice to know when you go to work you are receiving more than money. As a window cleaner you brighten people’s day. You are performing a service that people really do not like to do on their own and because of your training and learned ability, the customers are greeting you into their homes or businesses with a smile and letting you leave with their thanks and appreciation (and maybe even a tip!). By the end of each day, you will have had at least a handful of compliments praising you as a person and your work as well.

- 18 years or older.
- May start work by 7:30 AM.
- Able to sometimes work Saturdays when needed.
- Residential candidates must be FEARLESS of heights. Ladder work is a necessity and no other job in the world uses ladders daily like our residential window cleaners do.
- Employees are personally and financially responsible for all work and equipment issued to them.
- Must have a friendly personality and be willing to please the customer.
- Must write legibly.
- Must be able to count money and make change.
- Must be willing to wear a company uniform as an employee.
- Must be self-motivated and accept responsibility for working independently. Must be able to lift and control long pole.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have reliable transportation. You will be required to drive the company truck.
- Must have ability to read a street guide and follow directions.
- Able to lift 50-60lbs.
- Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time.
- Must be able to do repetitive motion with hands, wrist and arms.
- Must be able to work with arms above head.
- Must be able to bend and squat to ground level.
- Must be able to work in temperatures ranging from 30 to 110 degrees.
- Must be able to assemble, lift and climb ladders up to 32 feet.

How We Pay You
- At your current job, do you do more work than your co-workers but get paid the same?

We pay our window cleaners on a “Performance-Based” pay system. After your initial training period, you will be paid a variable $ amount for each job, depending on the job size/level of difficulty. This is usually reflected by the price of each job. The bigger/more difficult the job/higher the price, the more money it is worth to the cleaner. How quickly you complete the job will determine the $/hr rate that you worked.
